You should know better than to remove a fender from an old datsun, it removes the “magic” connection between the fender and car, making reattachement impossible.

I used duct tape on my old Datsun 510. Just taped the panel gaps and she held on really well. Granted I had no plans on restoring this car just driving it to the ground.
